4 Ways To Take Screenshots In Windows 10


Struggling on how you will take a screenshot on your computer? In this guide, I will share with you four (4) ways on how you will take a screenshot on your personal computer. This tutorial works on Windows 10, and some of it will work on an older version of Windows computer.

1. Use PrintScreen Key

  • Press PrintScreen key on your keyboard
  • Click the Windows home button or you just press the Windows key in your keyboard
  • Search Paint application and open the app
  • Copy or just press CTRL + V
  • Save the image or press CTRL + S

2. Use ALT + PrintScreen key

  • Press ALT + PrintScreen key on your keyboard
  • Click the Windows home button or you just press the Windows key in your keyboard
  • Search Paint application and open the app
  • Copy or just press CTRL + V
  • Save the image or press CTRL + S

3. Use Windows + PrintScreen key

  • Press Windows + PrintScreen key on your keyboard
  • Open the File Explorer
  • Find the screenshot in the Picture or Download Folder

4. Use Snipping Tool 

  • Click the Windows home button or you just press the Windows key in your keyboard
  • Search Snipping Tool
  • Open the application
  • Click New
  • Drag the cursor on the part that you wanted to take a screenshot
  • Save or press CTRL + S
  • Name the file


The first option you can use is the PrintScreen key that you can see on your keyboard. 

Your second option is by pressing CTRL + PrintScreen and do the same process in the first option.

This is the easiest way of taking a screenshot on your Windows computer.

This is one of the most used ways of taking a snapshot on your Windows computer. The advantage of using this tool is that you have several options on how you will capture or snap something on your computer. You can capture any of the following types of snips; (1) Windows Snip, (2) Full-Screen Snip, (3) Rectangular Snip, and (4) Free Form Snip.
